Justin Singer Joins Other Microsoft Partners to Make a Difference in the New Orleans Community
At the 2009 Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC), Microsoft, in collaboration with Habitat for Humanity, offered Microsoft partners the ability to participate in activities aimed at giving back to the community of New Orleans through its Day of Giving campaign.
Justin Singer, President of SMBology, attended WPC and willingly participated in Microsoft’s Day of Giving, taking time out of his schedule to help build houses within Musician’s Village. Located in the Upper Ninth Ward of New Orleans, this was one of the many areas devastated by Hurricane Katrina that is now being rebuilt.
“Not only was framing a house a way to make an impact and give something back to the community of New Orleans, it was also a chance to form relationships with other Microsoft partners from around the world,” noted Justin Singer. “As we all worked together on this project, we truly bonded and gained a sense of togetherness.” “It was such a rewarding experience.”
