SMBology Adds Six New Houston-Area Clients to Its Expanding Roster; Company Experiencing Accelerated Growth
HOUSTON – July 18, 2008 – SMBology Inc., an IT services company for the midmarket, announced today six new client wins. The six new clients are: Nachol Law, East End Chamber of Commerce, Advanced Cardiovascular, Red Oak Capital, Hardy Machines and BioMetrics Plus. SMBology will work with the new clients, providing strategic counsel and a range of services including Web application development and deployment, application development and deployment, and IT infrastructure design and installation.
“From the beginning, SMBology played an instrumental and strategic role in helping us define our technology needs to match our business goals and objectives,” said Ankur Goel, president of Hardy Machines, Inc. “Their professional staff understands my needs and competently provides IT services and support that goes far beyond what I expected. The combination of modern platforms and best-of-breed technology allows my IT to be a fundamental part of our business success.”
A 2006 study of IT outsourcing by the Aberdeen Group states that to be successful, companies need to treat IT outsourcing as a strategic part of business and not simply a tactical implementation. The study also discovered the key drivers for outsourcing are: to reduce costs and to gain access to skills and expertise that are not a core competency or do not exist inside the organization. The six new companies are tapping into SMBology’s knowledge and expertise to achieve the success and results outlined in the Aberdeen Group report.
“This is a very exciting time for us,” said Justin Singer, president of SMBology. “We are seeing a tremendous amount of activity from midmarket businesses that are attempting to navigate the technology labyrinth. Making the right technology decision is crucial for their business, and that’s where we step in. We bring both a strategic and innovative perspective to our clients.”
Founded in 2003, SMBology uses its IT expertise to provide valuable solutions that magnify both business and systems performance. The company has grown from one employee in 2003 to more than 18 employees. Revenues for the company have increased by 70 percent over the last two years as well. The range of services offered to companies includes: business systems analysis, network administration, website and application development, database integration, content management, custom software, and SharePoint expertise, among others.
In addition to business and employee growth, SMBology recently announced a joint venture with Austin-based Steel Advertising & Interactive. The joint venture serves a strategic purpose, allowing SMBology to extend its services beyond IT by providing an integrated and comprehensive branding and technology solution to clients.
SMBology’s other key accounts include: StarTex Power, Edge Marketing, Oasis Petroleum and EDC ATM.
