SharePoint Developer

Developer will be working on a variety of small and large-scale client projects using SharePoint and/or .NET. The ideal candidate has previous experience with creating SharePoint web parts, building site templates and a deep understanding of SharePoint features. For many projects, the client-assigned developer will have the opportunity to evaluate a project and choose the best technology for the job. Other times, the developer will be asked to add features to existing code bases. For a candidate interested in client interaction, this position offers plenty of opportunity.

Work is done primarily from our downtown Houston office, with some remote work possibilities for the right candidate. Travel is certainly NOT required, but for those interested, we have projects around the US. Working from our Austin, TX office is also a possibility.

Requirements
Thorough understanding of software development principles, including:

	Software development lifecycle
	Experience estimating and refining requirements
	Ability to learn new technologies quickly
	Excellent problem solving ability
	Interacts well with people and has good communication skills

 Desired Qualifications/Experience

	Minimum 1+ years SharePoint development experience
	Minimum 2+ years ASP.Net (C# preferred)
	Minimum 1+ years SQL Server (experience with complex queries preferable)
	Microsoft Certification a plus
